G2 promotes Perkz to head coach, Vitality locks FIESTA through 2026

G2 made the headline move on July 10, promoting Perkz from positional coach to head coach and moving Dylan Falco to inactive status. It is a notable reshuffle for one of EMEA's biggest names, and it puts a familiar figure in charge of the team’s day to day competitive direction.

Perkz taking over as head coach stands out immediately because of his profile in European League of Legends. Even without adding anything beyond the GCD update, the title change alone is significant. G2 is not tweaking around the edges here, it is changing the voice at the top of the coaching staff. At the same time, Dylan Falco’s move to inactive closes one chapter and opens another for the organization’s staff structure.

Vitality’s update is quieter, but still important. The organization updated FIESTA’s contract in the GCD, with the deal now set to expire on 16 November 2026. That gives Vitality long term control of its mid lane piece on paper and removes short term uncertainty around the position.
