Privacy Policy

Effective June 4, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Onivia handles information when you visit the site. It applies to on-site browsing, article views, and interactions with site features such as search and team filters.

Effective date: June 4, 2026.

2. Data We Process

We may process basic technical data needed to serve the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, requested URLs, and server log data.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may collect usage data such as page views, session activity, approximate location, device/browser information, and interaction events.

If you have not accepted analytics, the current implementation may still send limited consent-mode measurement signals to Google without enabling analytics cookies or similar analytics storage on your device.

3. Cookies And Local Storage

The site stores a consent preference so your analytics choice can be remembered.

Analytics cookies or similar analytics storage used by Google Analytics 4 are enabled only if you choose Accept analytics.

If analytics was previously enabled and you later switch back to Only necessary, the site clears known Google Analytics cookies and updates the analytics consent state accordingly.

4. Analytics

Onivia uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic trends, popular content, and site performance.

The current implementation uses Google consent mode with analytics storage denied by default. This allows limited cookieless measurement before acceptance and full analytics measurement only after consent is granted.

Advertising-related consent settings remain denied by default in the current implementation reviewed on June 4, 2026.

5. Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help operate the site, such as hosting and analytics providers, only to the extent needed to provide those services.

We do not describe advertising or sale of personal data in this implementation because the current site setup reviewed on June 4, 2026 only shows GA4 usage.

6. Retention

Technical logs and analytics retention periods depend on the services used by the site operator and their configuration.

Consent preference data is kept until it is cleared or replaced by a new choice.

7. Your Choices

You can accept or decline analytics from the consent banner and reopen the choice from the footer using Cookie settings.

Depending on your location, you may also have privacy rights under applicable law, including rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing.

8. Operator Details

This codebase does not currently define the final legal operator name, registered address, or contact email for privacy requests.

Before relying on this page as a final production legal notice, the site owner should complete this section with the correct legal entity and contact details.

9. External Services

Articles may link to external websites such as YouTube or third-party esports sources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the site, analytics setup, or legal requirements change. Material updates should be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
