LYON and JD Gaming Meet in EWC 2026 Group Stage

LYON's meeting with JD Gaming carried more uncertainty than the team names suggested. LYON had swept G2 Esports 3-0 before pushing Hanwha Life Esports to five games. JDG arrived after consecutive 3-1 losses to Top Esports and Bilibili Gaming. Both sides had reasons to believe this one-game stage could reset the conversation around them.

Dhokla, Inspired, Saint, Berserker and Isles represented LYON. JD Gaming countered with Xiaoxu, JunJia, HongQ, GALA and Vampire. The spotlight naturally fell on Inspired and GALA, two players accustomed to being asked to stabilize games when everything around them becomes messy.
