Major Roster Overhaul Grips Brazil and EMEA Teams Ahead of New Season
TL;DR
Numerous roster changes across Brazilian and EMEA leagues signal a competitive shakeup as teams prepare for the upcoming season. Notably, RED.A and several EMEA teams have made significant moves, both adding and losing key players and coaches.
A flurry of roster changes took place on January 22, impacting teams across the Brazilian and EMEA League of Legends leagues. RED.A is among those notably active, securing long-term contracts for its jungler STEPZ and mid laner Fuuu, both of whom have updated agreements with the organization. STEPZ's new deal runs until November 15, 2027, while Fuuu is set to stay with RED.A until November 16, 2026. Additionally, bot laner cadu’s contract will now extend until September 20, 2026. However, cadu is leaving the team, marking a significant shift for RED.A as they look to bolster their lineup.
In EMEA, TLNP has made a splash by adding a full roster overhaul. The team has brought in top laner Spooder, jungler Stefan, mid laner Toffe, bot laner Axelent, support Thomas, and head coach Djoko, signaling a fresh start as they aim to improve their competitive standing. Meanwhile, EE has also restructured its team by signing five new players: top laner didie, jungler Tichošlápek, mid laner kobe67, bot laner Lexendo, and support JJirkos. This comes after the departure of several key players who will be missed as the team adjusts.
AGG's roster will also look different this season following their signing of top laner Metys. In contrast, EXE has made noteworthy additions including top laner Dzeffry, jungler N3znamy, mid laner Deepe, bot laner KNEZA, and support Marco, while also parting ways with multiple players including head coach M0nster.
Other significant moves around EMEA include CKZ’s acquisition of multiple new players including top laner Krosak and jungler behave, while BRT has signed five players, setting the stage for a more competitive landscape. Not to be overlooked, the North American scene sees MISS retain mid laner Asilah for another season, while Z5 has secured new head coach Ukkyr, aiming for a stronger showing in 2026.
As the competitive landscape evolves, these roster changes indicate a year filled with potential surprises and intense matchups across both regions.
