NIP vs JDG Highlights: JDG Win 2-0, LPL Split 2 2026 Week 5

NIP opened their LPL Split 2 slate as a returning organization under the Ninjas in Pyjamas banner, and their series against JDG arrived on April 29 as part of the regular season schedule.

Ninjas in Pyjamas have leaned on structural changes since their entrance to the LPL scene, with an emphasis on integrating imports and domestic talent into a stable starting five. This series served as a checkpoint for how the organization is balancing draft flexibility and role assignments through Split 2, with coaching adjustments still a talking point among analysts.

JD Gaming remain one of the most discussed squads in the region thanks to players like Kanavi and Yagao, whose names are frequently part of LPL narratives. JDG's identity has been tied to individual talent and macro discipline over recent seasons, and viewers often focus on how those traits manifest across a multiple-game series rather than a single highlight moment.

What to watch in the highlights package is less about isolated plays and more about patterns. Draft tendencies, champion pools, and how each side adapts between games show up clearly in an all-games edit. Teams that can adjust bans and pick priority from game to game tend to reveal the most about their coaching staff and preparation during these sequences.

The April 29 upload gives fans a compact way to study trends without parsing multiple VODs. League observers will be looking for roster role clarity from NIP and continued consistency from JDG’s core contributors. Playoff math for Split 2 remains anchored on the regular season results, and performances across these series matter for seeding conversations.
