Significant Roster Overhaul Sweeps EMEA and APAC League of Legends Teams

January 7 witnessed a flurry of roster changes across several League of Legends teams in EMEA and APAC, signaling a renewed focus on building competitive lineups ahead of the upcoming season.

Skrímsli has undergone a substantial overhaul, welcoming top laner Sören and bot laner C0ver. The team also adds substitutes Skrímsli and ValaMala, with koarru transitioning from bot to mid lane. The departures include several prominent figures, such as top laners Quannalilai and KawaiiK1llz, mid laner For Fun CEO, jungler Greenkachu, and support FreyjaForg.

Eyen also made notable changes, bringing in jungler Belmund and bot laner Eyen, while top laner JonGarden and bot laner 1 man 9 monkey join as substitutes. Sir Cologne moves up to the starting roster, while the team bids farewell to mid laner Sæþór and jungler JÖNNÝ, who shifts to the substitute role.

Icelandic Hero added jungler Icelandic Hero and support Desilitri, as CatManiac changes from jungle to support. The team says goodbye to support Necrøphagist and bot laner Eyen, who recently joined Eyen.

In the North American region, MU signed support Obstinatus, while MISS added top laner Bradley, jungler Wiggily, and bot laner Array. They also secured temporary substitutes for the 2026 Academic Esports World Tournament in top laner Xinpaii and jungler Couch.

GZ in APAC announced the addition of support Orca and head coach Skywalk, creating a new management structure. CFO confirmed the departure of Orca soon after.

Additional changes include KC, which welcomed mid laner kyeahoo and support Busio, while also announcing that their head coach Reha would be departing. Meanwhile, KCB and KCBS made roster adjustments with several new signings, including top laner Tao from sister team KC Blue Stars.
