Hanwha Life Esports and MIBR.LOS Meet in EWC 2026 Group Stage

Hanwha Life Esports arrived at EWC with momentum and a frightening lineup. Zeus, Kanavi, Zeka, Gumayusi and Delight had recently beaten LYON 3-2 and Bilibili Gaming 3-2. Across the stage, MIBR.LOS put its faith in Duduhh, Ackerman, Feisty, Zest and Curse and the volatility of a single game.

Hanwha's expectations were obvious; MIBR.LOS had the freedom that comes with being the underdog. In a best-of-one, those two mindsets can meet violently.

MIBR.LOS chose Jarvan IV, Cassiopeia, Nautilus, Ziggs and Tristana, packing the draft with initiation and explosive follow-up. Hanwha answered with Syndra, Naafiri, Alistar, Gnar and Seraphine. Alistar and Gnar gave the Korean side reliable ways to begin or turn a fight, with Seraphine controlling space behind them.

The bans focused heavily on playmakers. MIBR.LOS removed Camille, Lee Sin, Akali, LeBlanc and Annie. Hanwha took Jayce, Vi, Orianna, Vayne and Renekton away. The underdog did not draft to wait quietly, and Hanwha did not treat the matchup as a formality.
